Although I was only a babe at the time, I love anything 1970s and the music is the best bit.

So the other night I stayed up until the early hours and created a 1970s music collection; it was so much fun, the time just flew by.  I’ve managed to capture early new wave, disco, country, rock and folk (where would a 70s playlist be without the Angels, Fleetwood Mac, Lou Reed, Donna Summer, Elvis Costello or Blondie?) – so have a listen to a few if you like.

  1. This is the soundtrack of my childhood! Although I wasn’t even a twinkle in either of my parent’s eyes I can recall hearing all of these playing in our house on high rotation when I was growing up.
I wasn’t into the Spice Girls or whomever was popular in the 90s, instead my sister and I crooned along to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, The Eagles, Roy Orbison, and The Supremes. Now I know what the soundtrack to my weekend baking is going to be 🙂

  2. Oh wow! I’ve just made a similar playlist for my new salon, but you’ve reminded me of some more gems! I feel like I should def meet you one day! You really have such excellent taste in so many things 🙂
